I am an independent researcher working across astrophysics, astrobiology, artificial intelligence, and systems engineering, with part of my work focused on space systems and related scientific, technical, economic, and policy questions. My research ranges from the physical universe and the conditions for life to the design and governance of complex systems.
AI plays a central role in my research workflow. I use commercial and open-source models, as well as custom and fine-tuned systems I develop or adapt, for idea generation, literature exploration, drafting and restructuring text, coding support, data analysis, and critical evaluation. I also use AI to challenge assumptions, surface alternative interpretations, and stress-test arguments in an adversarial manner.
These tools substantially augment my productivity and perspective, but they remain instruments within my process rather than independent authors, except where I explicitly state that specific content was generated by AI. I carefully review, verify, and, where necessary, reproduce results and claims, and I take full personal responsibility for the accuracy, integrity, and content of everything I publish.
